“ I love this place! Today, had an order screw up, got cheese instead of cheese and pepperoni, when I called they were understanding and made a new pizza for us. Both were great, the pepperoni is always preferred by my kids tho. ”
“ Love the pizza. I'm an old guy who's lived/travelled a lot in my life and eaten a lot of pizza. This one is very traditional, made in a pizza oven, not a conveyer belt. A pizza oven gives the crust a nice char and crispy bottom. If you're looking for thick, doughy spongy crust with very thick cheese, you will be very disappointed. I love this type of pizza- it has nice flavor, is balanced and doesn't leave me feeling way too full. I would describe the pizza here as New Haven style. Thin scorched crust. Toppings are fresh. Sauce is chunky crushed tomatoes with nice seasoning but not overpowering. Cheese is not overly thick. Everything is nicely balanced. I ordered pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and extra sauce. Pie was perfect. Char on the crust. A bit of grease from the peppery. Love it- it's very similar to Supino's downtown or Tomatoes Apizza in Farmington Hills- both of which are terrific New Haven style places. My pie was pretty inexpensive- $15.90 for a small 3 topping pizza. This place is a total throwback to my teenage years in the Detroit area. Places like this one were very common. Pizza guy in white t-shirt, white hat and white pants, pizza oven (not conveyer belt) a counter, a register and a couple tables. Not fancy at all. Owner is from Albania and lived in Italy for a long time. He is a man of few words, but he knows his pizza. This will be my go-to place. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. ”
“ Best pizza in the area. Hands down worth every penny, we picked it up and took it home, but eating it right as it comes out of that oven should be the way to go. I'm sure the next time and eating there will be a better experience! Great pizza! ”
